Welcome to Necker Island, Sir Richard Branson's private island paradise in the British Virgin Islands, a stunning and unspoilt area of the Caribbean. At 74 acres, Necker sits in turquoise waters surrounded by coral reefs and fringed with beautiful white sandy beaches. The island can be hired exclusively for groups of up to 40 people, or if you are not looking to hire it exclusively you can still enjoy the Necker experience by taking a room as a couple, individual or family for a seven-night stay during selected weeks throughout the year - these are called 'Celebration Weeks'. Accommodations Accommodation on Necker Island includes 11 bedrooms in the Great House and nine individual Bali Houses dotted around the island. There is also a bunk room in the Great House that sleeps up to six children. The total number of guests that can easily be accommodated on Necker Island is 40, plus six children in the bunkroom. The spacious alfresco style Great House boasts amazing panoramic views of the Caribbean, the Atlantic and neighbouring islands. Almost all of the guest rooms in the Great House have a balcony, and all come with king beds, most of which can be twinned, and en-suite bathrooms. On the upper level you'll find the master suite, complete with a private outdoor hot tub and outdoor bath. All rooms in the Great House are fully air-conditioned. The six beautiful private Bali Houses are built in authentic Balinese style and each can accommodate a couple. Bali Lo, Bali Buah and Bali Kukila are built in the middle of the island and boast wonderful views with a large private pool. Bali Kukila takes its name from the Indonesian word for bird and Bali Buah is the Indonesian word for fruit. Bali Hi, Bali Cliff and Bali Beach are built on a cliff in order to maximize views, sea breezes and the sounds of the sea. They are nestled together and each one has a private plunge pool. The Temple House is situated right in the middle of the island with panoramic views, Temple Master Suite and Temple Sunrise are built in the same Balinese style you'll find elsewhere on the island.
